“Sanderson shares the love”
Sanderson brings a fresh direction to the popular soul scene. The singer / songwriter seems unaffected by the pressures of the modern day music industry; he is a unique artist that combines a naturally powerful voice with passionate lyrics that are clearly written from personal experience.
Quoted as saying that he is “not interested in tank tops, tribal tattoos or standing up for a key change”, Sanderson is referring to his refusal to jump into the mould of a modern day boy band, despite his age, boy next door image and cheeky persona surely being right up the street of the manufactured boy band producer.
It is clear however, that Sanderson is much more interested in his credibility and integrity as a long lasting successful artist. A personal favourite track is “Oooh I”, a track that balances extreme easy listening with thought provoking lyrics that reflect on the pull of love.
